Make-up setting spray MISSHA: Fitting Wear make-up Fix

As I have combination skin I’m constantly looking for products that will help my make up last longer, especially in the summer. You may know that there are setting sprays on the market, but I have never used them before for make- up setting. I guess its because I’m somewhat afraid of a bad skin reaction, breakouts etc. Isn’t it also kind of strange to spray mist on your face after applying make-up?. ..However, when I saw this Missha setting spray
I had to buy it just for sake of curiosity. If you don’t try new products you will never know, it could turn out to be a must have product.
The MISSHA Style Fitting Wear Makeup Fix comes in a small round metallic bottle, very travel friendly. The packaging is nice ‘heavy’ doesn’t  feel cheap as with other budget brands. I bought the product for around 10 euros, which is somewhat pricey for the amount you get (50 ml).
What Missha has to say: Set your makeup with this light and hydrating spray. Mist spray creates a light setting film, allowing makeup to stay put and last longer. Contains Centaurea Cyanus Flower Water to hydrate and help makeup adhere onto skin. Arnica Flower Extract for oil-water balance in skin and help makeup last longer. Alcea Rosea Extract and Sambucus Nigra Flower Extract create clear, smooth skin. Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Flower Extract for soothing.

I have been using this for a couple of weeks now, you basically have to hold it about arm’s length from the face and spray it in Z shape a few time to cover the entire face. The scent is very fresh slightly  ‘parfumish’. I would have preferred it to be fragrance free, but Korean products are often scented.

After spraying this product on my make-up it will dry very fast without feeling tacky. The product is very light weight so thought the day you don’t feel having it on your make up. I do believe that this somehow helps my make-up stay on longer. In addition it also hydrates my skin which is a big plus! Still, the Missha setting spray will not become my everyday product. I decided to keep using it for special occasional and a night out. I prefer the natural make up look and use minimal products on my sensitive and acne prone skin.

This product is great if you are looking for a setting spray that hydrates your skin and allows your make up to stay on longer. It did a good job on my sensitive combination skin  I didn’t experience any irritation.

Pros

- Make up stays on longer (the base)
- Easy to use
- Travel friendly size
- Feels Light weigh nln sticky

Cons

- Parfume scent

  4. I've tried a few makeup setting sprays over the years, and the Urban Decay offering has always been my firm favourite. This one sounds like a good option though! :)

  5. I have always wanted to try a makeup setting spray but I was afraid I might somehow end up spraying it in my hair thus leaving a mess :(. Have you experienced greasy hair roots after using this? Thanks!

    1. No I didn't have any problems with the product getting into my hair, no greasy roots etc. If you are carefull shouldn't be a problem just don't spray it to close to your head/face
